The Vibe: Daily dose of elegance. The Kate Mensah woman has a strong sense of self. She’s not a trend hopper. Her style is feminine and sophisticated with clean lines and luxe fabrics.

The Clothes: Leather separates. Leather was incorporated into several pieces including a wool coat, skirts, dresses and a black and tan trench coat. Inspired by nature her palette contained earth and jewel tones were consistent throughout. Pops of plum wide-leg trousers and cobalt blue added richness. Kate has an eye for proportions that flatter.

Enviable Piece: a python pencil skirt with some shine.

The Vibe: Expect the unexpected. Hello Eliza has evolved since her Fall 2012, Gangland collection. We still saw plenty of bright colors and spandex dresses. But this collection has a bit more Japanese pop appeal, with an edge. Okay, maybe a razor sharp edge.

The Clothes: Doomsday Countdown and Have a Nice Doomsday were just two of the most obvious messages designer Elizabeth Harrison sent down the runway. An orange vinyl skirt with black mesh back served as a peep hole for the black thong underneath. Neon blue and green spandex dresses, crop tops and a vinyl KISS inspired jacket all dominated the runway to a pure bass soundtrack that shook the floors. A full length black, body hugging dress held together on either side by safety pins caused my seat mate and I to both turn to one another and in stereo exclaim, Steven Sprouse! What I appreciate about Elizabeth is her ability to present a clear, concise and consistent message despite a chaotic theme. She knows how to deliver.

Enviable piece: For me, the KISS inspired vinyl jacket is an edgy spin on the trending moto

The Vibe: Youthful, fun, and full of energy. Life is a party. The Brady Lange girl or guy probably lives in Huntington Beach, CA.

The Clothes: As expected we saw a lot of camo and neon in every shade. A suit made up of matching camo separates with an orange neon tie; the anti-suit.  The baseball caps with the initials “BL” and jersey with “Lange” across the back reminded you of where you were, in case you forgot. Although simple with minimal detailing, the collection was intentional, consistent, relevant and marketable. He has an audience. I could see Brady Lange evolving into a lifestyle brand someday.

Enviable Piece: Orange track pants. The color is trending and it could be dressed up with a blazer and pumps.
